Trentingrana DOP
The Trentingrana cheese has been produced since 1926, when Mr Marchesi di Rumo mastered his cheese making skills in Mantova, after he permanently moved there to marry his fiancé. Marchesi bought the milk from the Cloz creamery and turned it into a grana cheese that instantly become the most popular in the Region. Made with the milk of cows which are not fed insilaged food, marked rind, a color of paste which varies according to the cheese maturing grade- from ivory white to straw-yellow with aromas of hay and dried fruit.
