The cheese is refined with a walnut liqueur. The walnut liqueur preserve the cheese, prevents the formation of unwanted moulds, gives characteristic aromas and a nice brown colour to the crust. The texture is soft and creamy, with a slightly bitter flavour and aromas of cooked cream and toasted dried fruits.
Pairings
White wines like Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay, walnut liqueur, Williams's pears' slices, walnuts.
