Burgeiser Classic

A mountain cheese from the Burgeis Dairy, reminiscent of green meadows and the typical vegetation of the Vinschgau Valley. Founded in 1950, the alpine dairy collects only the fresh, silo-free milk of the 48 dairy farmers who keep between two and up to 25 cows.  The concave cheese shape has an orange-coloured and thin rind. The paste is yellowish with regular pea-sized perforations, the cheese has a smooth consistency and a pleasantly spicy taste.
